Norman Zoomorphic Buckle and Strapend

Buckle, engraved plate, and simple strapend. The buckle loop is based on a 12th century buckle loop found in Perth, Scotland, and has typical debased acanthus vinery for decoration. The zoomorphic buckleplate is based on one in the Gaukler Collection, and is filled with dark blue modern enamel. Fits a 1 1/4" belt, and comes with rivets.
