Mali Eye Beads
$49.95
Three glass Mali eye beads. Found near Djenné, and bought in Bamako circa 1977.
These beads are usually described as Islamic. They were probably made between 800 and 1200AD. No one is quite sure where they were made- suggestions include Fustat, Egypt and somewhere in the Byzantine Empire. The largest is about 11mm.
Model: 10892i
