Dalmatian Denar

13th century silver denar of the Banate of Slavonia, probably Heinrich von Gussing, 1269-1270. 1.5cm.
+ MONETA REGIS P SCLAVONIA (pellets between many of the letters)
Marten standing left, stars above and below, all in inner beaded circle
Patriarchal cross on base, surmounted by a pellet, two patriarchal crosses on lower arm, flanked at base by crowned bust on either side, star in upper left field, pellet in crescent in upper right, bird facing inward in field by lower cross arm, all within circle within beaded border.
